Wines of the Year 2010

No Tasting notes but interestingly Both Contain Pinot Noir to one degree or another. Not normally my favorite variety despite being so fashionable to say otherwise. However both are over 20 years old.

 

1971 Dom Perignon and Louis Jadot Clos de Beze 1990, both truly outstanding wines. The Clos de Beze in particular showed one of the properties I value most in wine. That is evolution in aroma and flavour over the couple of hours we had it open. Amazing flavours as well!
