Not Your Normal Piedmont Tasting
Normally in Piedmont you expect to to try at tastings Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato and certainly locally produced ones. So this particular tasting at the Mango Tennis Club of Californian Reds was quite unusual We managed to shoehorn the Kowhai Point Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage in as well
It was a great tasting and big thanks to Kacy for lugging the wines all the way out from San Francisco.
My picks the Freeman Pinot Noir and the Radio-Coteau Syrah amazing stuff and a massive contrast to the local produce.
One of the seemingly basic yet shockingly good dishes at the Mango tennis club.
